Enabling key-repeating doesn't work for cursor

but i'm still not able to navigate by holding keys down... , i'm probably doing something wrong as i'm new to VS-code / Cursor

Start by reproducing the cursor-navigation problem using the macOS defaults commands and application identifiers listed in the issue. Compare the behavior with the VS Code, VS Code Insiders, and VSCodium cases mentioned, and document a reproducible configuration or the conditions under which holding navigation keys works.
