Describe the bug

I select text and paste it, but it's not replacing the old text, it's inserting. (Attach image)

How do I fix this?

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Select Text.
  2. Ctrl + C : paste text.

Expected behavior

Replacing the old text, Not inserting like image:
