Description
Currently Vim in VSCode does not support inoremap command
It gives this pop up to add this feature by creating a pull request.
It would be highly appreciative if you make this able to do this.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the reported inoremap <A-i> <Esc> behavior in VS Code with the VSCodeVim extension and inspect how insert-mode remappings and key notation are handled. Done means the mapping is accepted and pressing Alt-i exits insert mode without the reported popup.
