Command :%s/print('foobar')/something breaks at closing parenthesis
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open a file and add the following contents
print('foobar') - Try to execute the command
:%s/print('foobar')/something - Note that no matches are found due to the closing parenthesis
Expected behavior
Search text should match with print('foobar')

I tried escaping the closing parenthesis with various means like \ .\ \.
