Description
Describe the bug
I'm using VSCodium on macOS Monterey and I've followed the mac-setup instructions but key repeat for navigation (hjkl) still doesn't work.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Run
defaults write com.visualstudio.code.oss ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false - Log out and then log back in
- Start up VSCodium
- Navigate in a file by holding 'h', 'j', 'k' or 'l'
Expected behavior
Holding down a navigation key results in repeated movements rather than just one.

Research direction
Start with the mac-setup instructions and reproduce the behavior on macOS Monterey using the documented defaults command, then inspect the key-repeat handling entry points identified from that setup. Done means holding h, j, k, or l in VSCodium produces repeated navigation movements rather than a single movement.
