Research direction

Start by reproducing the listed steps with the VSCodeVim extension, the default macOS input method, and Chinese text entry on the reported versions. Compare behavior with the Vim extension disabled and investigate the typing path involved. Done means Chinese characters remain stable without horizontal shaking or blinking while the extension is enabled.
