Research direction

Reproduce the issue in VSCodeVim v1.21.5 on VSCode 1.58.2 with macOS 11.5.1 by selecting text and pressing cmd+c. Trace the visual-selection behavior around that keybinding, and consider the work done when the selected area remains visible after copying.
