Description

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
No

Describe the solution you'd like
The one thing keeping me from switching to VSCode is not having a Vim implementation with amazing (advanced) options such as Vim Mode Plus has in Atom. Here is an overview of those features - they are extremely useful:

Research direction

Start with the linked Atom Vim Mode Plus Advanced Topic Tutorial, especially the operator-modifier section, and compare its features with the current VSCodeVim behavior. The issue does not identify specific files, tests, or a bounded feature, so the first step is to define which advanced feature is in scope and what equivalent support would be considered complete.
