Description

I am in a line of code with the cursor on the { sign, hit the V to select the line and then the % to move the cursor to the }.
Then I hit the > -sign to indent the code and then the . to repeat indentation. In this specific case, only the first line is re-indented. If I select the lines with the j/k keys it works fine. It is only when the selection is made using the %-sign.

Research direction

Reproduce the sequence in VSCode Vim: use V and % to select between braces, indent with >, then repeat with ., and compare it with a j/k selection. Trace the handling of % selections and repeated indentation. Done means repeating indentation affects every line in the selection, as it does for j/k.
