Re-raising from #3752 as that issue has been closed.
The message "A setting has changed that requires a restart to take effect" pops up when changing modes.
To Reproduce
While in normal mode rapidly double click words, which toggles between visual and normal modes - the message should pop up quite quickly.
It seems to be related to the vim.statusBarColorControl setting, I cannot reproduce with this disabled.
Expected behavior
No message to appear.
