Description
Issue Type: Bug
Every time I launch VSC or open a new foler or file, it's as though I have hit the ESC key. I end up having to press the o key to get back to editing. It's a small issue. Also this is only a problem on my Macbook, my Windows PC is fine.
Extension version: 1.17.1

Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the startup and new-file behavior on macOS with VSCodeVim 1.17.1 and the listed VS Code version, then compare it with Windows. Done means opening the extension or a file enters normal editing without pressing o.
