Description

Describe the bug
Hey guys this is a amazing and powerful plugin I have been using several months now

So the problem Im facing currently here is
I have a vscode keyboard shortcut that inserts a cursor (see below)

    {
        "key": "alt+cmd+k",
        "command": "editor.action.insertCursorAbove",
        "when": "editorTextFocus"
    },
    {
        "key": "alt+cmd+j",
        "command": "editor.action.insertCursorBelow",
        "when": "editorTextFocus"
    },

So now the weird behaviour here is that when I tried to move or edit in command mode
this does not work anymore

But when I restart my vim and try again it works again.

  • Extension (VsCodeVim) version: 1.17.1
  • VSCode version: 1.51.0
  • OS: MacOs

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in VSCodeVim 1.17.1 on VS Code 1.51.0 using the listed macOS keybindings, then enter command mode and try moving or editing with multiple cursors. Done means the behavior remains functional without restarting the Vim extension; the issue does not name a source file or test to inspect.
