Description

Describe the bug
`a doesn't go to mark a

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to any place in your file and press ma (mark a)
  2. Go to some other place in your file and press `a (go to mark a)
  3. Notice the cursor has not moved

It does work with other letters. I have not checked them all.

Expected behavior
I would expect the cursor to go to mark a.

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • Extension (VsCodeVim) version: 1.13.1
  • VSCode version: 1.43.1
  • OS: 10.15.3

Research direction

Start by reproducing the ma then `a sequence in the VSCodeVim extension using the reported environment details, then trace the mark-setting and mark-jump handling for the a register. Done means jumping to mark a moves the cursor as expected without breaking the other mark letters.
