Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in VSCodeVim 1.10.2 and VS Code 1.37.1 using visual mode, a multi-line selection, and the gc command. Trace how visual-mode selection changes are handled during gc; done means every selected line is commented or uncommented, matching visual-line mode and mouse behavior.
