Description
Speciffically: can't exit insert mode with a binding.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Add to Settings:
"vim.insertModeKeyBindings": [
{
"before": ["<Up>"],
"after": [ "<Esc>", "<Up>" ]
},
{
"before": ["<Down>"],
"after": [ "<Esc>", "<Down>" ]
},
],
- Open some file and enter insert mode (for example with
ioro) - press Up/Down
- The cursor moves up/down without exiting insert mode.
Expected behavior
Exit from insert mode is expected.
Environment:
- Extension Name: vim
- Extension Version: 0.16.0
- OS Version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.17134
- VSCode version: 1.26.1
Additional context
This binding used to work, but I missed the exact version it broke on -- I use VSCode for very specific tasks and not every day.
Thanks!
