Description

FEATURE REQUEST

I would like to be able to bind key sequences with alt to vim keys, specifically Alt + v to V like so:

{ "before": [ "alt+v" ], "after": [ "V" ], },

Would this be hard to implement ?

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points, so begin by locating the keybinding configuration and handling code in the TypeScript extension. Trace how sequences such as "before" and "after" are processed, then verify that an Alt-modified sequence can produce the requested Vim key behavior. Done means the example configuration works without regressing existing keybindings.
