Description

This is not a bug or request and I didn't know where to put it. I tried to search for the issue but couldn't find anything (perhaps I was using the incorrect keywords).

For example, I would like to map <leader>m to editor.action.goToTypeDefinition. How would I go about doing that?

Research direction

Start with the issue's example of mapping m to editor.action.goToTypeDefinition and determine whether VSCodeVim or VS Code configuration handles it. Document the supported steps and verify that the mapping invokes the requested command.
