BUG REPORT
Environment:
- VSCode Version: 1.16.0
- VsCodeVim Version: 0.10.0
- OS: Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6
What happened:
When writing Latex documents:

- Normal mode into Insert mode
- type \begin
- Enter to autocomplete
- typed text will be appended to both strings
- press backspace key
- typed text will still be appended to both strings (need to press Esc and i again to escape)
What did you expect to happen:
It works well with Vim disabled:

Users can input text simultaneously after autocompletion
How to reproduce it:
Using Vim, LaTeX Workshop
- type \begin and press enter
- type to test

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in VS Code 1.16.0 with VSCodeVim 0.10.0 and LaTeX Workshop, following the reported \begin and Enter sequence. Done means text is inserted only once after autocomplete and backspace behaves normally without requiring Esc and i.
