BUG REPORT

Environment:

  • VSCode Version: 1.12.2
  • VsCodeVim Version: 0.8.4
  • OS: Windows 10 1703

What happened:

When I execute the ex command "norm A;" in a CRLF file, the ";" will be appended to the next line, but not the current line. If I set file.eol to LF, then it works fine.

What did you expect to happen:

";" should be appened to the end of current line

How to reproduce it:

execute "norm A;"

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in a CRLF file using the ex command norm A;, then compare it with the same command when file.eol is set to LF. Trace the :normal command entry point and line-ending handling; done means ; is appended to the current line in both cases.
