expected (when vscodevim is disabled):
IsCacheValid("f")

start -> after typing f:

Research direction

Reproduce the reported snippet workflow in VSCodeVim using the listed VS Code and VsCodeVim versions: type a quote in a snippet, then type f, and compare the result with VSCodeVim disabled. Trace the quote and snippet handling involved, then verify that the quoted contents are replaced as shown by the expected IsCacheValid("f") result.
