Description

Hello,

I've installed Simu5G firstly from IDE (Help -> Install simulation modules). I tried to run multimec simulation (simulations/NR/mec/multiMecHost/omnetpp.ini) to test if it works. Build was successful and Qtenv started. At the beginning simulation runs properly, but after simulation time about 9.9s simulation crashes (screenshot below).

Screenshot from 2022-10-23 17-05-42

Message after exiting Qtenv: 'Simulation terminated with exit code: 89'.

Same situation happens with all MEC simulations.

After this I've tried to install current version of simu5g from github (in IDE: File -> Import.. -> Import Existing Project). The problem with limited MEC simulation time still occurs.

Simulation crashes not only while using Qtenv, but also with cmdenv.

Do you know how to solve this problem?

OMNeT++ version: 6.0.1
INET version: 4.4.1
Ubuntu 22.04

Research direction

Start by reproducing simulations/NR/mec/multiMecHost/omnetpp.ini with OMNeT++ 6.0.1 and INET 4.4.1 in both Qtenv and cmdenv, focusing on the crash around 9.9 seconds and exit code 89. Done means identifying the cause and allowing the MEC simulations to continue past that point in the reported Ubuntu environment.
