Description

a compute needs to be random - but fully repeatable. This comes down to seed management.
We may need to develop a simple simulation manager that facilitates random number generation and provides flexibility in computational design.
The simulation manager might need to be able to distinguish between natural variabilities and knowledge uncertainties.
