Description

Feature Request Description

We see that the ui5 mobile table and the ui5 standard table have personalization and a standard pattern for sorting and grouping.

Could we also use similar features in ui5-webcomponents? Sorting/grouping in the header is a common feature in many UI component libraries (including the ui5 component library), and we really hope to be able to use it in ui5-webcomponents one day.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked UI5 mTable personalization example and the referenced antd, MUI, and HeroUI table patterns. Define the scope and interaction model for header sorting and grouping in ui5-webcomponents; done would mean the table supports these features with behavior comparable to the proposed UI5 pattern.
