steps to follow for reconstructing real data from start to finish

Description
Some of us have a list of steps that we follow. I notice that our own examples are incomplete. Can anyone help by listing steps that they use? Could be STIR/SIRF (but not e7tools , Duetto etc please).
Once we have the steps, we can add them to the examples.

Research direction
Start with issue #754 and the linked SIRF PET raw-data wiki page, then compare the STIR GE-Signa PETMR and Siemens-mMR examples. Gather a complete reconstruction workflow for a specified scanner and version, and identify any data that can be uploaded to Zenodo. Done means the steps and supporting data are suitable for adding to the examples.
