Description

Currently the implementation if the incremental interpolating backprojector fails when the number of views is not even. Images are wrong, even though the programs might run till the end. This raises an assert() in DEBUG mode, but should also error-out if asserts are disabled.

Research direction

Locate the incremental interpolating backprojector implementation and the assert triggered when the number of views is odd. Reproduce the case with an odd view count, then verify that it reports an error when assertions are disabled and that the resulting images are no longer wrong.
