Description
Collection of ideas how the tech stack could hopefully be more unified and simplified:
- Windows in general: switch to WSL2/Ubuntu setup
- Windows: use Windows Terminal
- Universal (if WSL2 is used for Windows): Use Homebrew as package manager
- macOS: Use homebrew casks to install apps (other than command line tools)
- Windows: maybe use
wingetorscoopfor apps - Universal: maybe switch to
uv(from Miniconda) - Universal: maybe switch to marimo (from Jupyter Notebooks)
