Description

[x] I have checked the issue tracker if my question or bug has
already been fixed or answered in another (possibly closed)
issue.

  • OS build 19043.1288
  • ver. 2021.5.0.0
  • Steps to reproduce:
    1. Using clear settings for 'Desktop' as reference.
    2. Change display orientation to 'portrait', minimize everything, still 'clear'.
    3. Change display orientation back to 'landscape', minimize everything, not clear anymore.
  • Expected results: Taskbar should be 'clear' the same when I switch from landscape to portrait.
  • Actual results: Portrait to landscape, app acts like it isn't running. Desktop 'clear' mode is checked but taskbar is in default windows settings.
  • Other: Tried changing settings of 'Desktop', still doesn't work. Only fix that I know is to restart the application.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported sequence on Windows build 19043.1288 with TranslucentTB 2021.5.0.0: switch the display from landscape to portrait and back while using the clear Desktop setting. The issue is done when the taskbar remains clear after returning to landscape without restarting the application.
