Replaces https://github.com/The-Strategy-Unit/data_science_planning/issues/161 (can't transfer from there to here). The issue belongs in this repo, given it will become a blog post.
@ai-mindset and me assigned, since we're the ones who will write it. Meeting with @ChrisBeeley and @StatsRhian on Thurs 2 July to discuss.
