Description
The 'Using Git and GitHub' page references a talk from May 2024, which is still relevant but perhaps out of date and/or we've learnt more stuff since then. We should probably directly integrate some of that content into the 'how we work' pages.
While doing this, we could also reconsider any existing content to see if it requires changes/updates.

Research direction
Start with the “Using Git and GitHub” page and the linked May 2024 presentation. Compare that material with the existing “how we work” pages and identify content that should be integrated or updated. Done means the relevant guidance is incorporated and outdated existing content has been reviewed and revised.
