Description

For self-hosting, a simple health endpoint checking backend, database access, optional LLM config, and maybe LaTeX availability would help deployment monitoring. It does not need to call expensive models by default.

Research direction

Start by locating the app's HTTP entry point and the existing backend, database, optional LLM configuration, and LaTeX checks. Define the health endpoint's response and failure behavior without calling expensive models, then add coverage for the requested checks and verify it supports self-hosting deployment monitoring.
