Steps to reproduce
Setup your own domain to point to a address with mtproxy installed server
Add mtproto proxy using this domain name + secret
Try connecting
Expected behaviour
Connected via mtproto proxy
Actual behaviour
We see "connecting" about 10 seconds and then become available with xxx ms. Though replacement the domain name with its ip address directly works properly. Tried with many domains to MTP proxies, and got the same result.
Configuration
iOS 12.3.1 with Telegram 5.7 from App Store/TestFlight
