Description
I'm having issues with Repentogon turning off sound effects for Rep+.
Whenever I load up vanilla Rep+, the sound effects and music work fine. However, if I try and load up the game through the RGON mod loader, the music and jingles works, but the sound effects do not. I've already tried going through the settings for the sound (both in the game and in the launcher), but nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary settings wise. I also tried removing OpenAL32 in the game's folder (which was an old method of fixing broken sound), but that didn't seem to fix anything. I've also tried reinstalling Repentogon, but like the previous method, that hasn't worked. I am at a loss on what other options I have to fix this issue on my end, and so I wanted to report a bug here in case it was an issue on the mod loader's end.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue by comparing vanilla Rep+ with loading through the RGON mod loader, using the reported difference between working music and missing sound effects. Trace the loader's audio initialization and verify that sound effects play through RGON while music and jingles continue to work.
