Description

If a to-be detoured function contains jumps back to instructions whose bytes are contained within the first five bytes of the function, Detour does not fix the jumps within the rest of the function, which leads to invalid instruction exceptions.

Research direction

Start by locating the Detour implementation and its jump-relocation logic, then reproduce the failure with a function containing a jump into its first five bytes. Done means the relocated function handles those backward jumps without producing invalid instruction exceptions.
