Research direction

The issue only describes a broad Material 3 UI update and provides export-resource instructions; it names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by clarifying which screens and exported design resources are in scope, then identify the relevant Android UI code. Done should mean the agreed screens match the Material 3 design and the project’s UI checks pass.
