Description

Describe the bug
Basically my app crashed while moving to my usb connected via charging port

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click copy for any file
  2. Paste it onto a usb drive connected via charging port
  3. Wait for some time.

Expected behavior
The file to reach inside my usb drive without crasing and doing it fast for small storage

Screenshots
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Samsung galaxy Tab A
  • OS: Android 7 Nougat
  • Rooted: No
  • Version: Latest on fdroid

It not only crashes but takes a very long time to move a 70mb folder. Even if it did, the file would be found corrupted.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the copy and paste steps on an Android 7 device with an OTG USB drive, then inspect the crash logs and file-copy path. Confirm whether the operation crashes, runs unusually slowly, or produces a corrupted 70 MB folder; done means small files copy successfully without crashing or corruption.
