Describe the bug and the steps to reproduce it

honestly don't know where to fix this, on the starter template itself to prevent it from affecting the devtools, or on devtools itself to prevent it from inheriting styles from the starter templates

Research direction

Start with the linked TanStack Router discussion #7017 and reproduce the readability problem in the referenced starter template. Determine whether the unwanted styles originate in the template or are inherited by Devtools; the issue is done when the Devtools remain readable in that reproduction.
