Description

Next step in segmentation process.

Current plan:

  • create binary map for time = t
  • create binary map for time = t - delta_t
  • dilate both maps by 10 pixels
  • subtract binary maps (Map_t - Map_delta_t)
  • remove transient features from original map
  • dilate final resultant map by 10 pixels

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the segmentation implementation and existing binary-map operations, then verify how maps at adjacent times are represented. Done means transient features are removed using the listed dilation, subtraction, and final-map steps.
