Description
Summary
240p Test Suite Release Candidate has an infinite loop that only happens on BizHawk's Ares64 core. It doesn't happen in Gopher64 nor upstream Ares. This causes the entire ROM to be unusable here.
Repro
- Open 240p Test Suite Release Candidate in BizHawk's Ares64 core.
- The ROM hangs on startup. Opening the debugger reveals that it got stuck in an infinite loop.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the 240p Test Suite Release Candidate in BizHawk's Ares64 core, then use the debugger to inspect the startup infinite loop. Compare the behavior with Gopher64 or upstream Ares as described in the report. Done means the ROM completes startup in Ares64 without hanging in the loop.
