Feature Request - BizHawk Linux HiDPI Scaling support

Summary

Currently BizHawk doesn't (seem) to support HiDPI Scaling on Linux (I have tried various ENV variables to force scaling with BizHawk, but none work, or I am currently unable to find the appropriate settings to make this work, then please point me towards the right setting). Running at a resolution of 3840x2160 on a ~50 inch TV this results in BizHawk being unreadable from more then a meter away. KDE Plasma scale factor is set to 200%. The standard KDE Plasma setting of letting legacy applications apply the supplied scaling factor themselves isn't applicable to BizHawk, since it currently doesn't make use of this functionality. A workaround then is to force Plasma to scale legacy x11 applications, however this results in a blurry washed out image from BizHawk which is undesirable.

BizHawk makes use of the scaling functionality inherit in KDE Plasma and outputs at 200%, or whatever the scale factor is set at.

Begin by reproducing the issue on BizHawk 2.11 under KDE Plasma with a 200% scale factor, comparing native scaling with the blurry legacy-application workaround. Trace how the desktop UI starts and handles display scaling, then verify that the application renders sharply at the configured factor without breaking other display settings.
