Description

Upstream info
Merits

Considering that we already have a run done within Linux showcasing it off, might as well make it more accessible in a sense.

Technical details

Probably to point out the few things, it has active LibRetro support when in the main repository, it can read zipped up content but looks for the RPG_RT.exe file within a directory, and has locale support for other languages.

Something else to point out, and it may be a bug on their end, but it's worth pointing out that messages can appear when it's searching for a missing file, sometimes the file just doesn't exist.

And a way to control the System Time in a sense to have a more favorable starting RNG would be nice for titles that require it..

Research direction

No BizHawk file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reviewing the BizHawk core-port requirements and the EasyRPG Player source repository, then determine the intended scope for LibRetro support, zipped content, locale handling, missing-file messages, and system-time control; completion criteria are not specified.
