Description

When using the experimental Dosbox-pure core and loading a .iso file, it loads up alright. But when closing it, the client won't release it properly and the file can't be deleted. I'm using Win 11 and dev build 1fd6e2e08528de99aeeeae5ee098e5c80e957114.

Research direction

Reproduce on Windows 11 with the experimental Dosbox-pure core by loading an ISO, closing the client, and attempting to delete the file. Trace the relevant image-file handling and shutdown path; done means the client releases the ISO so it can be deleted after closing.
