Anyway to speed up the "boot time" or loading of BizHawk?

Description
I find BizHawk to be very slow to startup, I'm not sure why this is, it's already on an SSD so it won't improve any on different hardware... Is there any improvements I can do to make things startup a little faster, perhaps have it ignore certain BizHawk features or cores and just load the ones I want? Any command lines to know about that I could put in a shortcut for this?
If not, any plans or ideas to maybe help the speedup issue? I'd love it if BizHawk would run a little faster... weird "feature request" i know. : )
