Description
Request to change display type (not data size) in the hex editor.
I'm trying to view the 4 byte groupings as fixed point 16.16 like in the RAM Watch.
Would also be nice to view groupings as signed/unsigned/float/binary as well based on the data size.

Research direction
Start by locating the hex editor and the RAM Watch display-type handling referenced in the issue. Determine how the requested fixed-point, signed, unsigned, float, and binary views should apply to groupings and data sizes; done means the hex editor can display those representations without changing the underlying data.
