Description
Example: foo of {{bar}} {{baz|bool}} (https://stackstorm-community.slack.com/archives/community/p1450884020009057), instead having to rely on a default. Slack throws a 500 error. https://stackstorm-community.slack.com/archives/community/p1450884286009064). Workaround is to simply provide a sane default ({{baz=False}}).

Research direction
Start by reproducing the reported template expression foo of {{bar}} {{baz|bool}} and compare it with the working {{baz=False}} default. Trace the cast filter and alias handling from that reproduction; done means a string can be cast to a bool inside an alias without a Slack 500 error, while the existing default behavior remains valid.
