Description

Real-time diagnostics while editing (#163; live policy checks in VS Code). Useful on source, so
it needs the HCL provider to say anything before plan time — sequence behind it. Scope check: an
LSP over policy JSON files themselves (schema validation, condition completion) is cheap and could
come earlier from the existing validation code.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing validation code and the HCL provider dependency described in the issue. Decide whether the first milestone is an LSP for policy JSON files or source diagnostics, with schema validation and condition completion as the stated completion criteria.
