Description

Practically, this will be adding appropriate styling to inputs using the :required pseudo selector. Conversely, :optional should probably be styled as well.

Research direction

Start by locating the form input styles and existing validation states in the Stacks styles. Review how the :required and :optional pseudo-classes apply to inputs, then define styling for both states consistent with the existing design. Done means the states are visibly styled without disrupting current form behavior.
