Description

Hi,
I wanted to enquire if there were existing methods in spikeinterface to transform the unit locations computed into CCF space post probe registration for NPX probes in the IBL GUI for example. It seems easy to do but was just woindering if any existing function exists for this. Additionally, for a similar purpose, is it trivial to obtain the channel id closest to the computed unit locations and save them as template metrics

Thanks!

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by reviewing SpikeInterface's NPX probe-registration path and the IBL GUI/CCF workflow; determine whether unit locations can be transformed into CCF space and whether nearest channel IDs can be stored as template metrics.
