Description
In the new design we have requests on the friends tabs.
However, it is not clear if we can implement this feature at all. It is maybe impossible to know if someone is linking to me as a friend. Need to check.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the new design for requests on the friends tabs and the existing friend-linking behavior. Investigate whether the application can determine when someone links to the user as a friend. Done means documenting feasibility, technical blockers, and whether the feature can proceed.
