Cannot load SolidOS team chat when logged in

While being logged in as https://angelo.veltens.org/profile/card#me I cannot open the SolidOS Team Chat

It works when I load the page while not being logged in and then log in, but as soon as I reload the page the error occurs again.

Reproduce the failure by opening the SolidOS Team Chat while logged in, then compare it with loading anonymously before logging in. Start with the browser console stack in mashlib.min.js and the reported participation update error; done means the chat loads after a page reload while logged in without attempting an update to the uneditable resource.
