Description
User story: Optionally when looking at a given chat, on in the root of a chat app, the user is presented with a list of chats which they use. A public list and a private list, probably.
Using the type index, or if not why not.
Check compatibility with Solidarity.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the chat-pane entry points and the type index, then check the requested compatibility with Solidarity. Clarify how the public and private chat lists should be identified, displayed, and updated; the work is done when the agreed behavior is implemented and verified in the chat applet.
